I saw this at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival

It’s Happening Written by Pharrell Williams and Shelly Berg Performed by Pharrell Williams Courtesy of Columbia Records/Sony Music Entertainment. First of all, Pharrell Williams is not a musician I particularly like, but I enjoyed some of his work growing up during the 2010s.

the environment, colorful background and setting were very good

With this documentary about his life and career, while its structure and presentation are standard, the direction and use of Lego Animation as a form of storytelling about Williams was interesting and definitely something that had never been done before. with interesting interviews, musical score and discussions of the actors it is nice and brings a nice atmosphere to listen to Williams describing his childhood and his passion, and using the style of Lego Animation to present it.

While it is nothing special, it is cute

I appreciate that the filmmaker took a definitely different approach to presenting this documentary.
