Narrative

but they fail to do so
The first few episodes were so good they had me glued to my chair, but from then on they stopped moving the plot forward, continuing with these obscure side stories that are supposed to connect you to a specific character and create a deeper connection with them. They don’t seem to have a long enough plot so they try to drag out episodes starting with season 1.
At this point I’m not sure if we’ll even finish the season, we’re just a little bit away from forgetting all about it
You can afford three filler episodes in a row for a 15-20 episode long season, but when you plan 10 episodes per season and eat half of that up, it starts to get plain boring. My wife went from “oh my god, a new episode of Silo”; let’s gooooo get the home theater ready I’m going to make some snacks” to “hey Silo’s out, do you want to watch?”.
Edit: The above review was written after episode 5 ended, my faith in the show is restored now after episode 7
