A Montana ranching family is faced with others encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) seems to frequently “forget” his Montana accent and revert to his usual Southern California voice. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on the Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy and western life meets big city mob life. This show has a good cast, the first two episodes are well-written, and it leaves you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention, the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 1970s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.” A new season of “The Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
